This complex, long-term project began in 2017 but experienced delays due to contractual issues. The scaffolding encompassed all elevations, fully boarded, and included a pedestrian splash fan and full temporary roof covering.
As the site progressed into the demolition phase, the scaffold was adapted accordingly and included:
- Four crash-deck scaffolds built to design for each floor
- Internal hoist tower for debris removal
- Traditional rear staircase and Haki staircases to all floors
- Handrails at each level for added safety
The next phase involves new-build construction at full height, along with a new temporary roof and a front-facing loading gantry. This project is expected to continue for the next two years.
